The investigation into the alleged Scheduled Caste (SC) certificate controversy involving Madhya Pradesh's Minister of State for Urban Development, Pratima Bagri, has intensified. On the instructions of the state-level caste investigation committee, drums are being beaten in villages in Satna district to solicit evidence and documents from residents. Minister of State Pratima Bagri has been directed to appear at the office of the Scheduled Caste Development Commissioner on July 6, 2026, to present her side of the story. This action began following a High Court directive.
